Terms and Conditions

Not affiliated with Disney or Club Penguin

CPPSCreator is a fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Disney or Club Penguin. Club Penguin and its characters and assets are trademarks and property of their owners.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to create a CPPSCreator account.
• Give us a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for everything done with your account, including by managers you add to your servers.
• Don't create accounts to get around a suspension, a ban or the one-trial-per-account limit.

Running a CPPS

When you create a server you become its owner, and you are responsible for it: its name and description, what you upload, the bots and messages you set up, and how you and your staff run and moderate it. You must:

• Keep your server safe for its players: moderate it, act on reports, and don't let it be used to harass, exploit or endanger anyone, especially children.
• Use the data CPPSCreator gives you about your players (chat logs, IP addresses, logins) only to run and moderate your server, and don't share it except as our Privacy Policy allows.
• Only upload content you have the right to use.
• Not pretend your server is official Club Penguin or Disney, or another CPPS you don't run.

Things nobody may do

• Break the law, or post or share illegal content.
• Post sexual content involving minors, or groom, threaten or harass anyone.
• Post hateful content, or content promoting violence or self-harm.
• Scam players, sell accounts or items for real money, or collect passwords or personal details.
• Upload malware, or attack, overload, probe or reverse engineer CPPSCreator or the servers on it.
• Use bots or scripts against the game or the API beyond what the developer API and its rate limits allow.
• Get around bans, limits or Premium features by any means other than upgrading.

We may remove content, turn off or delete servers, or suspend or close accounts that break these rules, with or without warning depending on how serious it is.

Your content

You keep the rights to what you upload or write. You give us permission to store, copy, show and serve it as needed to run CPPSCreator, for example to show your server in the directory or load your rooms in players' games. This permission ends when you delete the content, apart from copies in backups that are cleared over time.

If you think something on CPPSCreator infringes your copyright, email support@rocketschat.com with what it is and where it is, and we will look into it.

Premium

• Premium is a subscription for one server, at $19.99 a month (plus any tax), taken by card through Stripe. Prices can change; we will tell you by email before a change reaches your next payment.
• Your first Premium server can have a 7-day free trial, one per account. You are charged when it ends unless you cancel before then.
• Premium renews every month until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next payment and Premium stays on until the end of the period you have paid for.
• Payments are not refunded, unless the law where you live says they must be.
• If a payment fails and is not fixed, Premium ends. When Premium ends, Premium-only features turn off but what you made is kept, as described on the pricing page.

The service

We work hard to keep CPPSCreator running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of bugs. Free servers are turned off after about 30 minutes with no players, and Premium servers after 7 days with no players. We may change, add or remove features, limits and plans over time, and will tell you in advance about changes that take away something you pay for.

CPPSCreator is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we are not liable for lost data, lost profits or any indirect damages, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that can't be limited.

Ending

You can stop using CPPSCreator at any time, and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@rocketschat.com. We may end or suspend your access if you break these terms or to protect players or the service. Cancel Premium before deleting your account so you aren't charged again.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and email owners about big changes before they apply. Using CPPSCreator after a change means you accept it. Questions? Email support@rocketschat.com. See also our Privacy Policy.
